1. Owning a Rabbit in Queensland

Rabbits are prohibited as pets in Queensland because they are considered a serious pest. Unlawfully keeping a rabbit can result in a fine of up to AUD $71,875.
2. Cleaning Seabird or Bat Droppings in Western Australia
In Western Australia, certain activities involving seabird droppings or bat droppings may require a licence. Under Section 387 of the Criminal Code Act 1913 (WA), breaching the relevant requirements can carry a penalty of up to one year’s imprisonment.
3. Vacuuming at the Wrong Time in Victoria
Under Victoria's residential noise rules, domestic vacuum cleaners are restricted during certain hours:
Monday–Friday: Before 7:00 AM and after 10:00 PM
Weekends & Public Holidays: Before 9:00 AM and after 10:00 PM
Breaching residential noise requirements can result in significant penalties, including fines of up to AUD $18,655.20, with additional daily penalties for continuing violations.
4. Doing Business With Pirates in Victoria
Arrr you ready for this one? Under Section 70C of the Crimes Act 1958 (Vic), corresponding or engaging in business with pirates is prohibited and can carry a maximum penalty of 10 years' imprisonment.
So in this case, it's less “Aye Aye, Captain!” and more “Bye Bye, Captain!”
